Infectious hard-hitting rock riffs and fierce live energy have earned BigMuff a reputation as one of Victoria's must-see rock outfits as well as a solid standing as an up & coming act worth looking out for.
Formed in late 2000, BigMuff integrates influences such as Veruca Salt, Foo Fighters and Guns n Roses. Their first CD "Sun & Fun at the Holiday Court" was released in 2002 to overwhelmingly positive reviews and sold over 500 units independently with the help of relentless gigging and local radio support. Currently, BigMuff is preparing for the Canadian release of their brand spanking new CD "Rock Lock", recorded at Mushroom Studios, In-Vision Studios and Studio 1. After returning from an extensive tour of the western US taking BigMuff from Washington to New Mexico and back; playing venues such as L.A.'s Whisky-a-go-go; and sharing stages with acts such as Epic recording artists Dope, Psychopathic's Zug Izland and Earache's Society 1, BigMuff is ready to unleash their new CD back home in Victoria

Great grungy girl rock
author: Quiet1"Grungy" rock in the same vein as Veruca Salt, Lash and Elastica. Catchy riffs and lyrics - great stuff!

author: AnnieBig Muff is an amazing female fronted band. Why they aren't famous, I don't know. They should be making millions! I'm not the only one who thinks so either! I'm gonna have to buy more copies for my friends! My fave song on Rock Lock is "Idol" but they all rock!
