Mal Sharpe's Big Money in Jazz Band is a loose floating collection fo San Francisco top traditional jazz artists along with guest singers Faye Carol, Kellye Gray, Lady Mem'fis, Kim Nalley and Rhonda Benin. Members of this band are veterans of bands like Turk Murphy, Dan Hicks, Earl Hines, Cats and Jammers, The South Frisco Jazz Band and Butch Thompson. Leader Mal Sharpe is also a broadcaster known for his man on the street interviews and early partnership with Jim Coyle--Coyle and Sharpe.
