WHAT THE MEDIA HAVE SAID ABOUT BIG HELLO AND APPLES AND ORANGES:
The Los Angeles Times
"No matters who's doing the selling, I'm buying Big Hello, a Chicago four piece. It has made two CDs of punchy, bratty three minute gems."

Goldmine Magazine
"Have we mentioned recently that Big Hello is one of the best rock and roll bands on the planet?"

The Los Angeles Times
"The band offers a breezy but biting sound mixed with smart-alecky sentiments and a hint of wistfullness...like a good, sharp wind coming in from Lake Michigan on an otherwise warm day."

Bucketfull of Brains, U.K.
"Big Hello, already one of the best live bands you can see today, have now delivered ample proof of their fully focused recording capabilities. The songs on this album should provide the ammunition, which will at last enable
them to explode onto the masses."

The Chicago Tribune
"Big Hello is a reminder of the crucial times you've found rock music to be diverting, uplifting and just plain fun. Big Hello plays melody-driven rock, chock full of pop hooks, clever drum fills and inspired guitar riffing."

Now Wave Magazine
"Elvis [drummer/band leader Brad Elvis] is a fine song craftsman, a master in the studio and a great drummer. He teams with singer Chloe F. Orwell to give Big Hello one of the greatest 1-2 rock-n-roll songwriting punches in recent memory (Imagine having Sammy Sosa AND Mark McGuire in the middle of your batting order!). Orwell, perhaps the finest vocalist in rock today, remains the band's most devastating weapon. She's a powerful singer. When you put HER VOICE and THOSE SONGS together, it's apparent that Big Hello simply cannot lose."

Luke Magazine, U.K.
"Apple is a total joy from start to bleedin' finish..In fact, it sounds like a greatest hits collection, everything here could be a single...All that's left for me to say, is make sure you get a chance to hear it somehow."

Amplifier Magazine
"Singer Chloe F. Orwell is Big Hello's show stealer. With a voice vacillating between the little girlisms of Juliana Hatfield and the more seasoned coarseness of Courtney Love, Orwell fairly bursts off these grooves with a sensual fervor, adding spark and tension to even the most routine moments. Not that there are many routine moments here. Mostly, the songs on the Orange Album are injected with wit, spunk and frenetic energy."
