TopCat Records Brasil is proud to announce the brand new release of LIVE IN DALLAS by Brazilian Blues guitar wizard BIG GILSON.

LIVE IN DALLAS was recorded live at the legendary BLUE CAT BLUES club in Dallas, Texas on September 23rd 1999.

This CD was produced by veteran player, producer and multiple W.C Handy award winner Richard Chalk, who produced CDs and videos by Blues legends Muddy Waters, Freddie King, Big Mama Thornton and Big Joe Turner, among many others.

This is Big Gilson's last release playing his trademark Gibson SG. Just after this show, he switched to his "new baby" Fender Stratocaster. (He blames it on those Texans, hehehe...)

    This a great CD with a real live sound. I like the classic blues songs and the great vocals. The guitar sound is really cool. Although he can play fast, every note counts. Also check out Tom Saputo's Blue City CD also sold on CD Baby. Great job Big Gilson!
