notes
My name is Bryant Swearengen aka Big Daddy I am a child prodogy that started playing and singing at age 7. I became a church musician at age 10. My intrest in R&B came early after hearing artist like the Isley Brothers, Peabo Bryson,Donny Hathaway and Luther Vandross. Although I had intrest I wasn't allowed to exspress it because of my family's deep religous background (Moma said play church music)now that's not a bad thing, it kept me grounded and out of clubs too soon. This also gave me the background of my style. Now with that said BIG DADDY is grown, and I have created some music that came straight from my heart. These songs are about things Ive been through or witnessed in my life time. Every track was written/arranged by me. I enlisted some great musicians from my home town MEMPHIS, TN.and recorded at the famous Willie Mitchell's studio. So if you like R&B ,with a touch of Gospel and a hint of jazz, you will love this album. Come and let BIG DADDY introduce you to his GROWN FOLKS MUSIC.

Loved it. Finally something for the grown folks!!!
author: Letina at letina@talkamerica.netI loved your cd. Im 25 years old and I finally have something different to listen to that everyone else is not wearing out just yet. You have something special in your voice. You are truly blessed. You should check out my boyfriend here at cdbaby.com. His name is Young Spade. He could use the smooth sounds of your voice on some of his lyrics. Maybe you two aspiring artists can come together and make something big come from the underground. I hope to hear more of you in time but for now I'll just keep playing this cd and praying for you. God bless. Keep it up and keep the grown folks music coming!!!!!
