Big Cock was meant to be. Lifelong friends Dave Henzerling (a.k.a. David Michael-Philips - King Kobra, Keel, Lizzy Borden) and drummer John Covington, along with the "Bad Motherfucker" himself, Robert Mason (Lynch Mob, Cry of Love) and fellow partner in crime, Colby, followed their collective destiny to form a kick-ass rock 'n roll band that could only be called Big Cock. Recorded at a secret location in the middle of the southwest desert during the summer of 2005, Big Cock's debut CD "Year of the Cock" is the record rock fans have been waiting for. It is the sum total of 3 decades of road-tested hard rock and solid proof that these guys will never, ever grow up. You can't ignore Big Cock - you know you love it, so come on and join the party...

    What Van Halen use to be....hard rockin & humorous. Tongue & cheek style sex talk to the beat of a sledge hammer!!! Robert Mason has always been my favorite vocalist, period....and the rythym section is slammin....it would be nice to hear a bit more shreddin BUT, Dave does well in the lack of confines here. The key to lovin these guys is a zipper-slide for girls and not taking them too seriously for the guys!! Let the madness continue boys, and get your asses to TEXAS!!!!

    About 2 years ago I sent a p. message to a certain vocalist asking that he think about WRITING some new/cool, original tunes,form a band with other talented friends of his and record/release an album!(Maybe one R. Mason had been pondering this on his own already?) But either way, knew he had it in him, and this cd SURELY doesn't disappoint! In fact, I'd say that it's the best $12 that I've spent in a looong time! And...I'm on my way to buy Big Cock's new (self-titled) cd RIGHT NOW, can't wait to get my ears on it! ;-) Rock on guys!

    This cd is straight forward hard rock in the late 80s style. great vocals from former lynch mob vocalist robert mason. Fun great lyrics. the band is solid with great gitar licks nice bass rhythms and thunderous drums. overall a great buy for the price.

    Theres some really great songs on this album, pity about the other crappie ones. I brought this on the tracks I downloaded , I want it all, Mean street machine and King of cool. These tracks a pure Rockin' tunes, great vocals and riffs. The kind of songs that go well with a bottle of Jim Beam. Just wish the rest of the album was as good. Maybe they'll grow on me. cheers

    It's great to hear Robert Mason getting back to basics. A lot of bands are scared of their roots.
