BuffaloHorse Eastman a.k.a "Buff tha Stuff" was named by spirits through a medicine man shortly after he was born August 27 1976 in Rosebud South Dakota, his dad is a fullblooded Sicangu Lakota and his mother is 1/2 navajo and 1/2 Warm Springs/Wasco. This six foot five and nearly three hundred pound "Warrior Chief" was raised by the American Indian movement and has been to many protests, demonstrations, rallys, even riots. At the age of 5 he realized the power of word while standing on the potium infront of a gymnasium full of Aimsters during the "Longest walk for survival" from Berkley to DC. He got up there grabbed the mic and said "I am walking for my future generations". War crys and the feeling of Native Pride filled the gym. He still participates in his Native ways by praying in Sweatlodges, Longhouses, and attendes Sundances and Pow-wows during the summertime, someday he'll go on another long walk but until then he is embracing a new culture that makes him happy and keeps him very busy as well. He liked Megadeath first until he felt the lyrical strength of Mac Dre, NWA, Luke Skyywalker, Above the Law, Sir Mix-A-lot, Too $hort and E-40 & The Click. He has been writing rhymes since 1988, now listens to underground hip-hop and he still loves rocking the mic. This CD is all killer and no filler, stuffed with complex, poetic wordplay and bone crushing beats, taking Native hip-hop/rap music to another level and reflects on the negative impact that sex,drugs,hip-hop,& alcohol has on reservations that are economically parallel to the worst ghettos of America. This groundbreaking CD is an instant underground hip-hop classic. Production is mostly done by professional skate boarder Karl Hubble, Buffs' childhood friend FrybreadNbeatz and has that northwest underground hip-hop feel to it while adding musical sounds from all over the world for a truly unique sounding album that everyone can appreciate. Buff tha Stuff has traveled the world touring with his crew called "Big Chiefin" they are one of the hottest Native Hip-hop bands out and are about to hit the road to promote his and JSK solo albums. We believe in artistic recognition, street credibility, tight beats, creative lyrics, good performances, and promote our music every where we go using guerilla marketing tactics. We are one big family and show that the native youth can be successful business owners, we are proud of where we came from, who we are as a struggle, and will always represent through the Big Chiefin Movement". Big Chiefin Pledge of Service: I will honor my duty to our creator to protect and defend our way of life by any means necessary. I will not stand by and watch while my people, my culture, my land and original ways are being exterminated by the foreign mans system. All my actions will be disciplined, proud, courageous and honorable in respect for myself, my people, my ancestors and the creator. Guided by our prophecies, our ancestors and our elders, I will uphold the original instructions of the creator. I am a spiritual warrior and will participate in and protect our ceremonies and every aspect of our original way of life. I will fight to return balance to our land and our people. I will use the experiences and knowledge of those before us to ensure that the generation following us is smarter, stronger and truer to our original ways. Motivated by the love of my people and respect to our true ways, I will embrace unity, knowledge, the way of peace, and true freedom. As a warrior of the Big Chiefin Movement, I will fight to the best of my ability forever for the freedom of all resisting Red Nations.
