What happens when professional musicians become parents? They play and write children's music. This is the path taken by Big Bang Boom, a children's music group from Greensboro, NC. After 20 years touring clubs and playing parties, Chuck Folds and Steve Williard decided to expand their horizons and play for kids. Together with drummer Eddie Walker they have become the parent friendly kid's rock band alternative.
The goal was to please the parents first, and the children will follow; as a result you hear “kid’s music” with a pop/rock sensibility. The first CD is in part a collection of songs that began about 7 years ago when Folds starting singing to his son. There they sat until Williard joined one of Folds’ other bands, Rubberband, and they began to write together.
Upbeat, fun, memorable, and meaningful. It's hard not to enjoy.

Loce It!!!!
author: JillMy almost 5 year old son & 8 1/2 year old daughter just love this CD. we listen to it in the car and suddenly no one argues or complains. They just start singing and begging me to turn it up louder. The songs are fantastic. I even caught my daughter singing "Why Can't I have Ice Cream" in the shower. I HIGHLY recommend this album to anyone with kids, grandkids, neices, nephews, etc. well worth the money.

When we start the music my 3 yr old twins immediately start dancing then the next thing you know my 15 yr old teenage daughter comes running to join our dance party. If you have kids or you are a kid at heart you NEED this album!
