    So, yeah. This cd is fucking amazing. I felt like an asshole for not having it since it came out. I guess that there's always been this idealized country music in my head that I can't play...something far purer than pop music where everyone does what's cool. With this cd, the music actually means something. It's not mixed down and processed. It's raw, like a salad. Anyone that doesn't understand just how great this cd is, they are dumber than retards sniffing glue. The tempo change near the end of Fix It Up is like getting stoned for the first time. The most honest thing I've ever heard.

    I just hear this song with the IPTV series, CARRIER. It is about the crew of the Nimitz Carrier, the people, their responsibilities and their hardships. The series started tonight. I instantly liked the song. Sorry, I have not heard your name before but definitely want to get your CD.

    I have listened to this CD many times on the road as I travel back and forth for work, and it keeps getting better. The lyrics are clever and the music is seemingly uncomplicated and this allows for a very balanced combination.

    Petes CD has great rythym and his superb song craft is evident in all these songs. Extremely catchy, not only the best blues album I have bought for ages but its keeping Dave Alvins and Tom Pettys latest CD's of the turntable. Well done Pete!!! One minor gripe, writing on the inlay could be clearer.

    I loved this CD because it has a lot of the same feel as Devil Makes Three, but is different enough not to be repetitive. Pete Bernhard is an amazing songwriter and it really shows on this CD.

    While on a motorcycle ride I stopped in the small town of Ruch Oregon in a restaraunt called Magnolia. Pete Bernhard's CD was on thier player, it was inspiring. I immediately got online and orered the CD. It has great lyrics and the beats are smooth. Great stuff, look forward to the next release!
