Ramon Bermudez, Jr. has won 19 New Mexico Music Awards in areas of song writing, arranging, producing, traditional Spanish, contemporary Latin, spiritual and instrumental music.
He has also been nominated for his work in the categories of jazz and acoustic folk. In 1998, his most recent CD, "Fuego en el Alma" received the Album of the Year award by the New Mexico Music Industry Coalition for the state of New Mexico. (As someone said, the whole enchilada)
In addition, he has created and performed two original soundtracks for independent videos and is presently searching for film score opportunities and record label support.

If it was possible to wear out a CD I would have worn out Ramon's first recordin

His first CD is the most soothing and soulful CD I own and I have a whole host of guitar artists in my collection. Treat yourself to the sound of Santa Fe's Ramon Bermudez.

A few years ago, my girlfriend and I were traveling in Santa fe, and we stopped at the LA Fonda Hotel, Where Ramon was playing his music. Ramon was playing this song called "My Significant Other" and the room was in some sort of fog. This song was so beautful, that alot of us had tears in our eyes. I know I had a lump in my throat. To write a song this beautiful he would have to be so "truely in love" with his "significant other! A very romantic album... Thanks Ramon for such beauty

There are many guitarists in this world that can play but just a handful that can touch your heart. Ramon is one who can touch your heart. He is also one of the few that has his own signature sound. He is the Carlos Santana of the acoustic guitar.
