IMPROMPTU OUTTAKES
Music for the adventurous listener. All songs were concieved, arranged, performed, played, & mixed LIVE without preconception.
Based on the challenge of being unprepared, Joe would invite the best possible players into his studio, and play + mix live to 2-track jams without any preconception for an instant final product. This created an extreme challenge, both playing and mixing unfamiliar music simultaneously. The 70+ minutes on each of the "Impromptu" releases are compiled from the best of over twenty hours of bulk jams. Impromptu 3-4 features the lead guitar stylings of Joe Berger & Steve Bondy (both are engineers in NYC) & the impecable drumming of Jo Jo Mayer . Rhonda Kersey is on bass & Jim Van Dyke on Keys. This album will take you through a variety of fusion , progressive rock , reggae , + an acoustic 12 string guitar solo (song for Cecil) .......
Joe Berger has played with & engineered many artists such as John Entwistle , Dream Street , Chris Trousdale , Billy Cobham , Jack Bruce , Jon Anderson , Vangelis , Jon Hammond , Barry Finnerty , Teruo Nakamura & many more.......you can hear more of Joe's guitar on "Impromptu Outtakes Vol 1-2" , & "Hammond's Bolero" available on CD Baby.......!

...& SOUND OF THE ART
author: Lloyd David LiebermanA continuation of stunning sonic landscapes, first introduced in vol's I-II; Steve Bondy taking on more prominence duelling with Joe's un- rivalled speed-of-light trademark sound... both guitars weaving in & out of a superb rhythm section without fighting each other; great eng/prod'ion for a challenging 100% live mix; a must-have for serious guitarists and cutting-edge fusion affecionados! Outstanding mix by Joe.
