notes

In the throws of recording our new album "Another Run Around the Sun", we found ourselves taking longer than at first we thought we might. Accordingly we have extended and recessed the project to be released some time in early 05. Even still we promised you new music in the fall and we wouldn't feel right about standing you up. The music on this disc is a collection of some of the new ideas as well as alternate interpretations of the BTB classics from the archives. We hope you enjoy this little insight into our work in progress and we can't wait to see you in 2005.

Respect and Blessings,
BTB
----------

-Day After Day (Radio): Some times when you tour an album aggressively, the arrangements of the songs begin to
evolve (for better and for worse). There isn't a musician who hasn't at one time or another wished for the opportunity
to go back and reinterpret what they have done. All we've done is to make this particular wish come true.

-I'll Be Fine (super rough mix- "so rough it's smooth"): Yet another step in unlocking the puzzle of this song. We
may go through another version or two before we get it right but we think it is a pretty little number.

-Island (acoustic w/Carly): This is the first recording of this song in existence. After returning from Panama with
friends (where we had been researching the behavioral patterns of men left in hammocks on tiny islands for
extended periods of time) I hurried to my mothers house to play her the new island song and she insisted that I
come up to Sally's old room (now her home recording studio) and record it immediately.

-Surround Me (Acoustic Version): This is a simple recording of me playing a song I wrote a long time ago about the ocean. There are many versions in existence. I can't recall how this version was selected for your listening enjoyment.
