With the release of his second album in 2007 and third in the last two years, it is obvious that Ben has no intentions of slowing down. There is something driving him from a deeper place, as if there may be no tomorrow. With two highly acclaimed albums already under his belt, "The Pendulum" will by no means be anything less. While continuing to use and abuse the less is more mentality and over all simplicity, Ben has once again constructed another wonderfully unique and special piece of work. With that "magical blues element" still being his driving force, he has continued to capture that beautifully dark and edgy feel in his songs and recordings. Even as the existence of the "album" is severely endangered, Ben took pride in the fact that "The Pendulum" is indeed an album and flows as smoothly and as effortlessly as any I've ever heard. Each song was constructed with tremendous energy and care, which could not be more evident in the final product. There is a special voice on the rise and it's worth a listen.
