Benjamin Warren – The man behind the music –
Benjamin Warren was born in the heart of thoroughbred country, Lexington Kentucky in 1982.
Considering himself a Florida native however, Benjamin spent his elementary years in Ft. Myers, Florida. At the young age of 10, he was coerced into piano lesions; looking back, it was one of the best decisions his parents could have made. It was in these early years that Benjamin Warren’s gift for music was first recognized. Benjamin was under the instruction of Ms. Karen Prasser, presently Executive Director of the Solon Center for the Arts. Ms. Prasser explains, “Ben has music inside just waiting to get out, some people are born with the ability to create, improvise, retain, and perform music; Ben is one of those truly gifted musicians.”
Benjamin spent his teen years in the small family oriented town of Melbourne, Florida. He played all percussive instruments in the symphonic orchestra and in high school found his second instrument of passion, the drums. You can hear these years of percussive influence in Benjamin’s compositions today; through the unique rhythmic texture and flow that each composition brings to life.
While living in Melbourne, Benjamin met the person who has most impacted his writing style and source of inspiration. Benjamin spent nearly two years under the direction of Mrs. Regina Bison. Benjamin recalls, “She gave me the freedom to express what was inside, she would never allow a discipline to interfere with inspiration.” It would be several years later that Mrs. Regina would lose a short battle with Cancer; Benjamin honors her life and giftedness with the song Ms. Regina.
For college, Benjamin Warren chose the University of Central Florida. In 2005 he graduated with a BSBA in Management and Entrepreneurship. He credits the business acumen gained from building two successful companies while in college as the main reason for choosing business over music as a major.
Benjamin Warren’s gift for music is phenomenal in that he composes, arranges, and produces every note of every instrument in every song you hear. He has incorporated the gift of being a music creationist with the technical side of producing quality sounds on the latest equipment used in the music industry today. At only 24, Benjamin will continue growing his musical footprint; leaving his mark on the music of our world for years to come.

author: SuzinvtBenjamin has done it again...another fantastic compilation of his creations! I have been looking forward to another album from this very talented musician, and this one is just as great as his other CDs. The music is soothing, interesting, moving...and one can listen to his compositions over and over again. If you're looking for music that you can work to, create by, soft background for intimate gatherings, you will be setting a gentle environment with any of his three CDs. Thanks, Benjamin, for another wonderful CD in this Ivory!

author: c. allenBW: Your music is poignant, and powerful, inspiring and relaxing. It is different than what is heard in so many instrumental compilations. Definitely not elevator music!
