notes
Benjamin Payne is part of a new breed of singer/songwriter/musician. With his roots squarely placed as a drummer and percussionist, his emphasis on rhythm and groove is the heart of his music.
In addition, Ben's gift for melody is "irresistible." His lyrics are both thought-provoking and entertaining. Since the release of his debut album (Gallery of Eden, Independent), audiences of all sorts agree Benjamin is fresh, positive, and honest with his desire to share his gift with anyone who will listen.
Blending pulsing rock, acoustic driven folk, and a twist of funkiness, Benjamin Payne is sure to please even the most peculiar of tastes.

Great CD. I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats.
author: Michael WelshWhen I first bought this CD, it stayed in my CD player for weeks. Being a friend of Benjamin's, I had known some of these songs for years and it was great to hear them realized on Gallery of Eden. The acoustic rock feel of this CD is just chock full of energy. I love all the tracks, but my two favorites are Dinah, and The Journey. Happy listening folks. It's a great CD. I laughed, I cried, it was better than Cats.
