bellevue cadillac has been in cover stories in rolling stone magazine, people magazine, jazziz, and swingtime magazines. they were the band that turned down JFK Jr secret wedding. you've heard their music on 20 television shows including the sopranos, sex and the city, ed,crossing jordan, las vegas,touched by an angel,brimstone,access hollywood,cnn showbiz. their music has been on compilations with ella fitzgerald,count basie, duke ellington, louis jordan, louis prima, brian setzer, big bad voodoo daddy, peggy lee, squirrell nut zippers, cab calloway. they've shared stages with james brown, ray charles, aerosmith, tito puente, jane monheit, bb king and kool and the gang, and kenny rogers. the songwriting has been called some of the best in the business by billboard magazine, and NPR. listen to why can't we be, and black and white and you will agree, this is an amazing cd, even the cover won best 100 cd covers of all time.

Great blues-influenced swing jazz from a strong band
author: George HasapidisThis CD has almost an hour of great, original music by a very talented swing band out of eastern Massachusetts. As usual, all the songs have been written by "The Professor" Doug Bell with some help from his bandmates. While the songs are therefore new and fresh, they are definitely in the swing tradition with a strong blues sound on many of the numbers. The instrumentation and vocals are excellent and exhibit (to my admittedly untrained ears) good range.
