Belles of Bedlam
author: Becky WalkdenAfter buying the CD at the Ren faire I had to drive from LA back to Phoenix. I put on the CD and it was the fastest, most enjoyable 400 mile drive I've ever done! Hope they make more albums! Becky

Thank you so much. This album cracks me up and makes my friends do a double take every time I play it.......priceless!
Developing Artist
author: H. SutterI was amazed by how professional this product sounded. You can tell it was recorded in a studio and mixed by people who really knew what they were doing! Some of the voices don’t quite live up to the quality of the mixing but the arrangements are nice. You can tell this group is in the process of growing and the lyrics are very funny!
way fun listening, attractive harmony
author: allison taylorI concur with the sing-a-long factor. The themes are amusing, the harmony is very pleasant to the ear, the instrumental support is appropriate, and it's become a top-10 for my car sound system in a week. Hope to see this group live sometime soon!
Sing-a-long is it's strongest virtue
author: Sir MarkThe songs are very fun, but most of the music is traditional songs with the words re-written. I was hoping for more original music considering what I have heard about the music groups on the west coast. Many of the songs don't seem to have much harmoney written, but the ones that do sound great. Cute CD overall and anyone can sing along with it.

Great songs, but it ends far too soon.
author: JulianaBig fan of the Belles. I make a point to see them a few times a year at the So Cal Ren Fair & Big Bear Faires. Heard a couple new songs that weren't as great as their traditionally sung songs, but all were great fun to sing along to. I will be playing this CD as well as their friends the Poxy Boggards at my wedding in June. The religious right that is my family is sure to leave early so the rest of us can have a drunken good time. If I could afford to hire the Belles for real, that would be sweet, but I'll have to settle with their sweet voices in spirit instead.
Only problem with the Belles - Not enough!
author: Richard KingI enjoyed every song on this CD so much, it's been in my truck player since I got it, as well as my MP3 player. They have a most beautiful, harmonious blend of voices, & the variety of styles keeps their sound from getting old. In fact, I keep having trouble figuring out which is my favorite song! There were only 2 bad things I found: First, they only have the 1 CD available - more please! Secondly, they seem to appear only along the western coast, so it's doubtful I'll ever get to enjoy their antics in person. Long life to the Belles! Huzzah!
Now I can have the bells every night. HUZZAH !!!
author: Lord TrikeThrow dirt on the floor, hang burlap from the walls , grab a tankard of ale an' sit on a wooden bench. Take a big sup of your ale, close your eyes and your at faire. My only complaint is ,they took too long to put out......the CD...put out the CD...what were you thinking about those fine upstanding ladies....Rrrrolll meee overrr.....BUY THIS CD, IT ROCKS !!!
Cd Arrived , I can't believe how great their music is.
author: Tim FerryI listened to the cd and found that I felt like I was at fair. I wish them a very much success. Keep it up Belles
Outstanding!!
author: David McElroyThis CD was everything we have come to expect from the Belles....Funny, up-lifting, dare I say arousing.... Almost as much fun as seeing them live!!
Great!
author: Rian McMurtryThe Belles did a great job. This is one of the best renfaire groups out there. Their versions of these traditional songs are humorous and quite, ahem, interesting.
