Beat Collision is the studio project combining Foolchild from FuzzyLounge Recordings and Krazy K. from K-LOE Productions. This Hip-Hop duo has been DJing and recording music together since 1996. Grasping business sense of music, Foolchild and Krazy K. started to excel at producing music as they developed K-LOE Productions as both a mobile DJ unit and a music studio from 1998-2000. During a brief working hiatus between the duo, Foolchild along with some other Seattle artists created FuzzyLounge Recordings with the intention to make it a self-sustaining independent record label and promotions company.
Respectively for a number of years now, Foolchild and Krazy K. have been DJ performing in the Seattle area and creating numerous compilation CDs, mixtapes, DJ mixes, live B-Side albums, radio shows, outtakes, etc. Realizing the need to collaborate again, these two artists have been progressively building the Beat Collision group since 2002. These two musicians have definitely established their niche with their diverse skills.
Beat Collision's musical influences are many. They are influenced by genres such as Hip-Hop, Funk, Jazz, Electronic, TripHop, Club/Dance, Downbeat, Rock, and Turntablism. Beat Collision: Volume 1 is a collection of songs that reaches all spectrums of Hip-Hop music today. This Hip-Hop album contains tracks featuring the acclaimed Seattle artists and prominently features collaborations with new and upcoming Seattle musicians. With this album, Beat Collision introduces the listener to a spirited, local underground sound with profanity-free lyrics and fresh new styles.
