Leon Bates is known world wide for his stunning intrepretation of the works of George Gershwin, America's most beloved composer. Bates has performed Gershwin all over the world with orchestras and in solo recitals and a variety of singers.
The Preludes are Gershwin's blend of jazz and classical and Leon Bates illuminates both the classical and jazz styles of Gerswhin.
Chick Corea was born long four years after Gershwin died and still it is clear that Gershwins influence is felt in the jewels of Corea's Children's Songs.
