Biography


"Powerful", "Dynamic", "Anointed", "Captivating", are just few of the attributes that describes Karlene Bartolo. This outstanding minister is blessed with the gift to deliver her message with conviction and power all wrapped up with a high degree of excellence.

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Karlene started singing at the age of 5 and has blossomed into a truly gifted singer/songwriter. She has been singing inspirationally for more than two decades, working with many groups including the Caribbean's most popular recording and touring group, The Grace Thrillers. She is one of the most respected Christian female artists originating from the West Indies.

Karlene migrated to Canada in the early 90's where she launched a solo career. This was the beginning of bigger and greater things. Assisting choirs, other vocalists and worship teams, she gained the respect of her peers as having a high level of professionalism while at the same time maintaining the focus of 'ministry'. Karlene continues to expand her vocal abilities and styles. This has broadened the appeal of her ministry to a wide range of audiences.

She has toured in North America, the Caribbean, and the U.K and shared stage with renowned artists such as Shirley Caesar and Cece Winans. She has also appeared on various TV Networks including WATC Atlanta, Sky Angel, TBN, CTN/Detroit and Wonderful Network.
Her memorable songs, powerful voice and stage presence have made her a household name to all who have experienced her in concert. She currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia and continues to wow audiences with her vibrant and dynamic ministry. Her fans span the globe. Once you've experienced Karlene's ministry, you won't forget.

    The album is truly an inspiration. Karlene really ministers through her music. The originality takes the album to another level. A prolific song writer and powerful Minster of the word. This album is a must have. You will sing some of her songs for days and possible years to come.

    I love praising the Lord and most times I choose a CD just because of the word "Praise" in the title, many times I have been disappointed, but this time NO way. "Let Everyone Praise the Lord" really push you to do just that. The sound that comes out of this sistah's vocal chords is sure to please.     "Father of Light" is AWESOME. It is very hard to find a cd which ministers to your needs as you listen to EVERY song! The lyrics, music, vocals and artwork on this project are all done in the spirit of Excellence. It isn't just catchy phrases to display lyrical skill but songs written from the heart of someone who has gone through trials and come out victorious. This is true worship!! One minute you'll be shouting and dancing, the next minute you'll be bowing down in total surrender! My favorites(this was a hard choice)are Holy is Your Name, Firm Foundation & Everlasting Love! You've got to add this to your collection! You won't be able to put it down!
