This straight ahead Jazz Cd represents the work of Jazz valve trombonist Barry Mosley in a tasteful drumless trio setting. This trio has been active in the Los Angeles Jazz clubs, playing at Vitello's , Jax, Spazios, and many other great Jazz locations in the Los Angeles area. Barry played with jazz great Chet Baker in the mid 1980's and is also influences by the wonderful valve trombonist Bob Brookmeyer. If you like the lyrical playing of Chet Baker ,early Miles Davis and others from that classic time, check this CD out.
