Bamjimba....as such....is a one man operation....with a great deal of help from some amazing "world" musicians & a fantastic young producer ( Alan Kenyon AKA...AK). the main man is jim bamber AKA The Fatman ( a drummer & percussionist ) The "1 LOVE" CD project was launched in April 2003 to benefit the UK Sickle Cell Society....a charity dealing with this pernicious discriminatory disease.....more info at the bamjimba productions website www.prostudio.co.uk ......! Most of the CD is based on the Dennis Brown/Joe Gibbs production (1983) of the infamous....."HEAVENLESS RIDDIM"..... from 1st April 2003 to 1st April 2004......the CD has made over £6000 ($9000) for the UK Sickle Cell Charity....and the Fatman received the award for "Best Fundraising Idea" 2003.....You can hear Bamjimba on several internet radio sites worldwide at present in France/Sweden/Italy/Australia/New Zealand/Puerto Rico/Cuba/The Bahamas/Argentina/Morocco......plus 3 stations in the USA...and... several in the UK...enjoy the sound adventure....let it wash over you....& if you have bought it....Massive Respect....Big Up yourself for Aiding a V Worthy Cause.....& ONE LOVE....the Fatman........PLEASE NOTE>>>>>>>The "1 LOVE" CD....is now only available online at various outlets.....&,at present EXCLUSIVELY....in the USA at CD BABY......

i would recommend this album to all true music lovers.
author: suei have been enjoying this album for some time now.it has a mixture of all styles of music,from reggea to dance.it is great to hear such wonderful artists especially knowing what an important part they are playing to raise money for the sickle cell society. i would recommend this album to all true music lovers. * to bam jimba- keep going big bum bamba!
