Good, smooth groove!
author: Rich FettkeWhen I received this from CDBaby I immediately imported it to my iPod. I've been playing it all the time -- groovin' on the way out to surf Santa Cruz, tapping my foot on the way to a friend's house for a wine tasting, singing to it when no one else is in the car (you wouldn't want to hear me). Evolution is one of those albums that puts you in a good place. The musicians are connected and talented. Lynn Asher's voice is outstanding. She blends deep, soulful tones with powerful, heartfelt lyrics. I'm looking forward to seeing Asher and LaMacchia perform live someday. Good stuff.
original & addictive
author: Michaela WungTo say this record is great is an understatement. It's phenomenal. It's beautiful and moving and real. You can't listen to this and not be affected emotionally. This CD is so addictive I can't live without it.
Incrdible
author: Karel GrulichI had a chance to catch Lynn Asher in concert on couple of occasions. The first concert was a benefit concert with many other singers. In my opinion, as a singer, Lynn Asher "blew" everyone else off the stage. The second was in a small restaurant setting where I could really appreciate her talent. This CD is a great compilation and a demonstration of what a great vocalist Lynn Asher really is. I would recommend this one to anybody. Karel G.
