WHAT EVERY LITTLE KID NEEDS!
Grammy Nomination for this great Guthrie Family (Woody, Arlo, Joady, Nora etc.) collection of children's songs. The Detroit Free Press says "What... Every Family Should Own (or Borrow From the Library)." Lost for over 40 years this collection was rediscovered and released in 1991. Woody's kids and grandkids sing along with his early recordings adding their voices and instruments to the originals where they exist and creating new music when needed.
The booklet contains the original artwork and lyrics by Woody and Marjorie Guthrie. The words to all the songs are included. Originally produced as a book with a cassette tape (from RSR), it eventually came out as a two CD set by Warner Brothers. RSR has restored the songs to their original order and faithfully reproduced the cover art as Woody had created it. The booklet included differs only slightly from the original omitting the music notation. Hopefully we will recover the rights to the book and include the music in a future release.

Wonderful CD for Children and the Young at Heart
author: Sharon HolmesIf you like Woody and Arlo, you will love this wonderful CD for children and the young at heart. It includes other members of the Guthrie family as well. It's the kind of music that creates hope, promise, and just a down right "good, wholesome" kind of feeling. Your children will love it, too!
wonderful music; the best collection of children's songs available.
author: Tim CrottyI have bought this disc three times because every time I get one I end up giving it away to someone with children. Wonderful music, beautifully done. It makes me and my family feel fortunate to be growing up in the Guthrie family era.
