I vocally stylize 9 classic standards on "A Snapshot". This is a musical picture of where I was at when this project was recorded (Fall-2006). I have been studying jazz for a few years now and wanted to get a snapshot of my progress.
I gratefully sing paying homage to the original composers and performers of these tunes. A number of talented musicians worked on this project. Jerry Navarro, Jim Michie, Tom Larson, Pete Roze and Liz Johnson comprise the band. It was recorded at Orazio Sound in Nashville, TN.
Hope you enjoy my take on these classic songs.
