Adam Pope is originally from Winston-Salem, NC. He grew up in a very musical household where he heard Gospel, Country, Bluegrass and Oldies music.
After learning to play guitar from his great-grandfather at age 15, he was writing songs and playing in local churches, coffeshops, bars, and even prisons.
He made the move to Nashville in February of 2006 with the goal of making a living as an entertainer songwriter. He has recorded two albums of original material, and this Roots album.
