The smooth sounds of jazz, the urban beat of hip hop, and the soulful grace of R&B, with a gospel twist. These are all words used to describe the new group taking gospel music by storm, Congregation. In its first project, Our Testament, Congregation glorifies the name of God through powerful musical testimonies, such as "It's Okay," "Pray With Me," and "God Knows What's Best for You."
Congregation is a compilation of various outstanding gospel artists from the Pacific Northwest, creating a diverse blend of gospel styles, including traditional gospel, rhythm and praise, and even holy hip-hop. Founded by renowned producer and musician, Anthony Jones, and businessman and writer, Jeffrey Mack, Congregation's mission is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ through musical evangelism. "We want to grab the attention of people young and old, and minister to them through music," said Jeffrey Mack, "We want to provide something positive to listen to. We want people to know that they can change their lives, and walk with Christ. There is something on this album for everyone."
