When I was 13 yrs old, my mother told me that I could not be a singer/songwriter. She told me that I was going to be President of the United States. Time spent in Washington on Capitol Hill and in the State Dept. soon cured me of her notion! It became clear through my experiences in Govt., and a vision I had while writing a budget for the democratization of Eqcuador, that I could positively affect many more people by playing music than playing politics. So the little girl became a singer afterall.
But as far as my mother is concerned, all is not lost. "Afterall, Reagan went from play acting to playing the President, Gopher went from The Love Boat to Congress, why can't you?"
NAKED encapsulates my journey from dancing on tables in my gold sandels at 4yrs old, to now, knowing that being me and sharing my spirit, is enough. NAKED celebrates the freedom we all have to be true to ourselves, with no barriers in the way. Free and flowing and happy as a child.

The real Anny is finally commig out!
author: Jeff ColmanAnny reaches for her real self in this album and it comes through load and clear. No one values a free spirit more than Anny and she is reaching for it here. HOME, GONNA GET MINE and WHERE WERE YOU, come closest to showing what Anny truly struggles with. She would give up almost anything for the freedom of her spirit. TYhis is a great album, but wait, I'm sure she has alot more to come.
