Andy has had a successful career in British television and theatre for a little over 20 years,

Aged just 30 years old, he was personally chosen by Barry Manilow to score his musical Copacabana in London's West End. There followed more west end musicals and more successes including 2 long running tv series.

"My Kind Of Music" with Micheal Barrymore involved Andy in every aspect of music from composing to arranging and playing on the sessions.

Andy has also composed for the BBC Concert Orchestra and appeared with them on Radio 2 with his "Nocturne For Jenia". This will be included in a later album.

Influences

Dave Grusin, Oscar Peterson, Rachmaninov, Vaughn Williams...

What people are saying about the music:

"Ready For Bed, exhibits true virtuosity, and is quite compelling, it is brilliant in its clean execution and rich textures. I had to listen to it several times. I instantly fell in love with Spinning, and would love to see a score of it one day. what can I say about it? WOW, it is huge! The intro (wow!) is so rhapsodic and melodic that it is Gershwin-esque in stature! Seriously, I to thought Gershwin from the first chords. The structure of this piece is a classic example of great jazz. The different instruments are so tight and precise, the turns and progressions are played with clarity. The piano is harmonically clear throughout, without the all to common tonal clutter that appears while comping. I myself am guilty of trying to put to much into my comps at times, occasionally with disasterous results. Well although I seem to have written you an epistle, I cannot end without commenting on The Lullaby, but alas, I am speechless. That vocalist has quite a set of pipes! Her enthralling voice, is reminiscent of... no its quite unique. Such a smoky voice and knowledgeable delivery make that melody. And what a melody it is. The melodic, almost Romantic Period, lyricism prove that this piece is more than worthy of its aptly named title...Lullaby"

"Your playing has a lightness and sparkle that you don't hear very often. Thanks!"

"OK NOW this is the way the ..PIANO.. is supposed to sound"

"Got the cd yesterday and just love it.. haven't stopped listening to it... love the sound of them ivories...
