4 stars??? Only because of the selection of material. Andy Martin ... gets 5 stars! This CD is really great in two different ways. Half of the CD is big band charts that Andy Martin and Vicks band do a great job. Then there's the other half of the CD that also is great but is a selection of easy mood music with violins setting the mood. I'm not interested in listening to both every other chart. It's too bad that Vicks band couldn't have done two different CDs. However the CD is worth every penny! Andy Martin is super, ...no actually, better than super. (as he always is) and the rest of the band does a great job in setting the pace.......... Paul Cole, trombonist, "CompaqBigBand.com" Boston

This C.D. confirms what I have long suspected. Andy Martin is one of the best trombonists around. 1 hour of pure listening pleasure. Please 'Project' to me again as soonas you like

  • What a great mix of jazz tunes.

This CD is incredible. Andy's playing is intense yet smooth. I haven't heard a trombone sound like this. The Martin penned tune "Paz Y Jazz" is one of the best cuts on the CD. But it is impossible to choose a best because it is all so good.

  • Outstanding as usual!

Andy Martin keeps getting better with each new release. From his early recordings with Dick Berk to now it has been a pleasure to hear him.
