notes

Andrew's first CD, Me And Buddha was recorded live at the Fast Folk Cafe in the winter of 1998. His sharp, quick humor stands out and you'll find yourself wishing that you'd been there. This recording also features the first ever live performance of Special K (written days earlier).

Limited number of copies avaiable...a collector's item!

"Conan O'Brien meets James Taylor - One of the cleverest, wittiest folk singers to come down the pike. Andrew should have his own show."- Richard Cuccaro, Former Manager, Fast Folk Cafe, NYC

So here's the story, y'all: so I accidentally got 2 Andrew Kerr's in my cdbaby order (same cd's, duplicates, idiocy on my part..or so i thought). so I received, so i listened more closely than mp3's would allow...So I'm KEEPING the second album for a friend!! How exciting. GET this album. You will chuckle(Me & Buddha), you will feel (Fading Away), you will combust (Special K), you will guzzle (Happy Life..."when i receeeive my lifetime achievement award" ha.), you will glow (Wonder Woman Belt), and mostly you will enjoy. The live-ness makes this album extra special.

This is by far one of the best Cd's I own (I have quite a large collection). His lyrical skills are well above average. Andrew Kerr is a wonderful guitarist and his sound is raw and unaltered. Fading Away is one of the beautiful songs I ever heard. This is one of those Cd's that even after you have overplayed it and put it in the back file, you whip it out occasionally for a dose. I have played this Cd for some of my friends who believe that the only good music is by people who have been marketed by major labels, and they were like wow. Now they ask me where I find this stuff at.
