(About MP3 downloads at CD Baby)

Beautiful consciousness raising music to help you connect with Kumeka, who is a new ray that has just begun to shine on Earth. Calm, inspirational sonic design that makes a perfect accompaniment to a creative lifestyle.

notes

This recording took almost one year to complete after the suggestion and introduction by my friend Diana Cooper, who communicates with Kumeka.
~
Diana says 'Kumeka, Lord of Light, is the master of the eighth ray, a new ray which has just started to shine down on Earth. It is the ray of deep transmutation, intended to bring about personal and planetary change in the New Age. The color of this ray is blue topaz. This mighty Being came from another Universe to help raise the frequency of our planet, which is now urgently needed.

Kumeka now works through millions of people at one time and seeks people of vision and higher light. This beautiful music will help you to connect with Kumeka and do your part in lifting the consciousness of humanity.'
~
Several friends performed on the recordings, including Becky Whiting on flute, Leo Sayer provided a vocal cameo and Pete Stone played an improvised piano arrangement in his inimitable style. All other instrumentation is by Andrew Brel.

About Andrew Brel:

Andrew Brel was born in Johannesburg and grew up through the height of the apartheid years before moving to London in 1985. He settled in Surrey where he remains with his family and the infamous miniature Schnauzer Wallace.

Andrew nurtured his passion for music from an early age and has taken this forward working as a musician, performing many thousand gigs as a guitarist/singer and as a producer developing recording skills through owning various recording studios through the years and working with a huge variety of talented musicians.

In 1989 Andrew founded the 'Bridge Recordings' label, producing many albums based on the 'two kinds of music' philosophy. There are only two kinds of music, good and bad. One constant in these productions was the use of real musicians playing in a 'live' context, rather than the cheaper and more commonly employed 'computer programmed' approach. Bridge Recordings was the first label to offer CD albums for sale on the internet in the UK. (1992.)

The most notable albums from the early period include the SAS Band albums (recording great artists such as Roger Taylor, Roy Wood, Paul Young and Tony Hadley) Leo Sayer's acclaimed 'Live in London' and Hugh Burns' solo guitar master piece 'Mindwash'. All of which continue to conjure ongoing international sales.

In 2,000, a chance meeting with renowned English 'Angel' authoress and therapist Diana Cooper led to a commission to write music in the 'New age meditation' genre.
In an unusual and remarkable seven day session, the album 'ANGEL INSPIRATION' was completed and very quickly became a best seller in the new age market.

Making albums based entirely on spontaneous improvisation arising from his own unique musical talent and compositional approach has led to an ongoing process of writing and recording in this emerging musical style. Intuitive ambient musical soundscapes.

Since the 2001 release of 'Angel Inspiration' a further four albums have followed:
MUSIC FOR KUMEKA, GOLDEN ATLANTIS, Angels and Unicorns and CELTIC INSPIRATION.

All these albums are sold in the USA through New Leaf Distribution and CD Baby, In Germany through Silenzio, in the UK through New World Music and in South Africa through Electromode Music.

  • My favorite music
    author: Sara Lee

This is an instrumental record, with seven tracks that run for an hour. It is mostly acoustic guitar, flute an piano and they fit together in a beautiful way. Its so relaxing and uplifting. I put it on whenever I feel stressed and it works without fail. I beleive that Kumeka has come to work with me when I listen to this music. This has become my favorite music album of all time. Sara.
