Ananda is the Future Now, a creation of a Singer/ Songwriter/Composer from the Gold Coast, Australia.

As a former Opera Singer for the West. Australian and Australian Opera she is touted by Dame Joan Sutherland as a " Highly Talented Musician with great potential as a Singer" and
The Juilliard School of Music's Marlena Malas Said " A Voice of unusual timbre and range...an interpreter of great intelligence and posesses charm, warmth, imagination and wit...a gifted young artist."

Since Crossing Over to Pop Music, Niki is taking it all in her stride. Writing another album, A rock opera and and being a light to the world, her days are an adventure. Her song "Rise Up" from "The Gift" is to be performed for an Aussie Independent film going into Pre Production in Late 2006. And she is hoping to tour the West Coast of the USA in 2006.     Former Australian operatic turned pop? It has happened before, but never quite like this as far as I know. Ananda has taken her powerful race horse of a voice, put it into a trot and breezes through 13 wonderful songs, all interesting, most compelling and a couple that are now stuck in my head. Love Everyday, I agree, my favorite. My only complaint, on several of the tracks Ananda's voice is down in the background, perhaps supposed to be another instrument? I would prefer it on top. I have had this CD for a week and have almost worn it out. When do we get the next one? Ananda has The Gift. She is going places. Wow.
