Amy Holloway is an exciting and beautiful young vocalist whose debut CD "Find My Own Way" was written and produced by Bay Area guitarist Al Begley.
With a spirited girl-power message enhanced by sparkling Beatle-esque harmonies, her debut CD brings a unique brand of pop sunshine to the dark periods we may encounter while we try to find our own way.
This major step forward in Amy's musical career continues a progression that began when she was the top soloist in her school choir, then a star in vocal chorus groups, and later a standout in the recording studio where some of the top hip-hop production teams in San Jose started using her to nail down the hooks on their best tracks.
Nestled in between the spirited but lightweight guitar-pop world of Hillary Duff, and the angsty, frenetic world of emo/screamo, the songs on this CD find a place for melodic, accessible music that is both edgy and catchy, both mature and innocent.

Surprising maturity

I think it will have considerable appeal to both younger and older listeners, since the lyrics embrace youthful themes but are far more insightful than the usual teen-pop. And the songs demonstrate a nice variety of styles, some undeniable hooks, and sweet guitars. Amy Holloway's voice is a delight; I think she belongs on a major label. This is a terrific debut for her.
The real American Idol!
