See http://www.AMYCD.com for the complete story.
This is the first compilation album from the Usenet newsgroup alt.music.yes. These musicians formed AMYCD to promote the music from this lively and talented newsgroup.
Other musicians from other newsgroups have created similar albums but none have been as "insanely great" as Cyberian Khatru.
With such great artists as The Synergy Quartet, The Naming, Timothy Martin, The Prodigal Sounds, and Dark Sky, Cyberian Khatru has a broad appeal that reaches out to many tastes.

Great easy listening
author: MaryWas impressed with the speed of delivery to Australia and even more impressed with the compilation of artists and music on these CD's ... Great easy listening

author: Robert Parducci <legend@popstar.com>Two CD's for the price of one! A very nice collections of tunes and tracks, representing the spectrum that is alt.music.yes. I was pleasantly surprised by the high production values throughout. Cyberian Khatru should appeal to most fans of progressive music and musicians in general.
it's good!!!
author: fannboyit really is pretty good! if you've ever lurked, or joined in on the chaos that is amy, it's definitely worth the $12-15 (for two cds!) to hear what some of these blowhards have put together. nice job gang!
Excellent compilation of the personal musical styles of online Yes fans.
author: YesELPkCrimsonCongratulations to all the contributing a.m.y. musicians! Excellent and very diverse music throughout, not a bad track to be found! Also, it should be mentioned that the central image of the cover artwork is the very, very generous contribution of Yes' own recent cover artist (& occasional a.m.y. visitor) BOB CESCA. The 'classic a.m.y. bubble logo' and border art are courtesy of John Thelin. Outstanding work by both. So, did you know that a couple of weeks ago, Yes drummer Alan White himself was handed five pre-release copies of _Cyberian Khatru_, intended for distribution to the current Yes members? Wouldn't you like to hear what Yes might just be listening to right now? Hmm? OK, that's the review... They'd make great stocking stuffers this holiday season, especially if your stockings are shaped like jewelcases!
An inspired and eclectic compilation, worth a listen
author: Colin NichollsCompilations are always a bit of a gamble. Here we have a wide variety of musical styles, the only common thread is that these artists are regular denizens of the alt.music.yes usenet group for fans of the progressive rock group YES. This could have been terrible. But it isn't. It's actually very listenable - perhaps supporting the oft-heard statement "YES are musician's musicians". These two discs have spent more time in my CD carosel than I would have thought. Recommended.
