Beautiful!!!
author: ScottyAmanda Shires' skill on the fiddle is remarkable. Her voice is beautiful, rich and pure. She has a wonderful ability to convey and transfer emotions. It’s not unusual for Amanda’s music to recall joy, lost memories or tears.

Catchy fiddle arrangements of new and traditional tunes performed by an obviously very talented musician/singer-songwriter. Amanda Shire's interesting, confident voice pulls it all together most enjoyably. I remember being impressed in a similar way years ago by a twenty year old Alison Krauss.
Being Brave
author: TiemoJust what I expected, in one word great!
Nice mix of instrumentals and songs from promising Texas talent
author: Jim ColbertI LOVE listening to a good fiddler... that being said, all-instrumental albums don't usually do it for me (what can I say, I'm a word man at heart!) But this disc is captivating; a nice mix of instrumentals and some very nice original songs featuring Amanda's sensitive vocals. Personal favorites are There's Words (which, yes, has words), Ragtime Annie and a nice reading of the Road to Lisdonnvarna, right about the time it's going to be mostly Texas-flavored. Recording quality and performances are top-notch throughout. Quite nice!
