Amae knows that the songs she writes and sings are not "hers", but a gift from spirit of which she is merely the messenger. Amae believes in "walking the talk" of her message and living a life of love, truth, balance and health on a daily basis. Amae humbly thanks the Universe for this opportunity to share love through music.
AMAE is unique kind of singer-songwriter. She been a professional singer and performer since she was 11, and recently spent 4 years in a band striving towards a record deal and performing all over the country. When she realized that success was becoming her first priority, she knew in her heart something was wrong. She decided to quit her band so she could commit herself ONLY to the people, projects and situations that lent themselves to healing, transformation and love. She believes in giving her listeners an undiluted version of the truth through music. Judging by what tops the charts these days, she knew she no longer not cared to compete in that arena. Amae's own music is a unique blend of soul, gospel, r&b, and new age she calls "inspirational soul."
Amae knows she has made the right decision to "let go and let Love" handle the future of her music career. She realized that this, more than platinum records or fame, will bring her what she truly seeks--fulfillment, joy, lasting happiness, and the chance to TRULY make a difference!
Amae's music encourages us to express ourselves and do what we love, having faith that the process will lead to what we are truly meant to do. She will stop at nothing to inspire her listeners to wake up and remember who they really are (DIVINE), and start living the life of their dreams!

Amae is amazing
author: Jeffrey JordanHeard Amae sing several times this past week in Chicago during an event I attended and bought her CD. Thankful is my favorite but I love the rest just as much. Her vocals and pitch are perfect and she is a joy to listen to. By the way, I'm 48 and can't wait to share this music with my 4 children especially my three daughters. Buy a CD and share it with your friends.

I truly feel empowered and better about myself, my abilities and future. If there's anyway to encourage more of this kind of music I would do so. This world is in desperate need of it. THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH for doing what you do!

"Thankful" is my favorite song and even after hearing it time and time again I still don't grow tired of it. Excellent CD. Each song is well thought out and beautifully mastered.
