Allan Holdsworth has captivated audiences with a unique and expressive style of guitar playing that has won him a devoted fan base.
Well-known in musical circles, he has performed with such artists as Jean Luc Ponty, Tony Williams, Bill Bruford, Stanley Clarke, Gordon Beck, and Chad Wackerman, and groups such as John Heisman’s Tempest, UK, Planet X, and Soft Machine.

In 1980, his own brand of jazz-fusion would be more personally realized after he set out on his own to record his first solo effort, I.O.U. featuring Gary Husband and Paul Carmichael.

Look for several new Holdsworth releases due out in late 2007.

    Amazing music! This is destined to go down as one of Allan's gems. The first time listening to it, the texture is just so immediately unique and engaging. And each consecutive listen just brings out more and more details. This is a fantastically constructed album, and I would expect nothing less from one of the world's most unique talents. Keep it up, Allan!

    Being a great fan of Allan Holdswortth, this was a great thing that cd baby had the Flat Tire cd put back on sale again. It is difficult for me to understand why the cd disappeared from the market ... Not coomercial enough. The same old story. As this is a great work by Allan Holdsworth. The music is here nothing less than nirvana.
