    This was an amasing CD, my mom did'nt want me to listen to it when she got it at the oregom country fair, ut I did anyway, and now I want to again!!!!! Alix has some amazing things to say about the world we live in today. If you have yet to listen to it you're missing out!!!!!!!! Go get a CD right now

    Alix Olson is one of the best Spoken Word Artists that I have ever heard. Her lyrics, in Built Like That, have literally changed the way I view myself as a womyn. She knows how to speak to those of all genders, without offending and still saying the truth. This album is amazing.

    Alix is an incredibly gifted artist....her poetry flows from her mouth like liquid silk, such is her way with words. And that gift, that talent, shines through crystal clear on this cd. Built Like That is a bold, radically feminist, pro-choice, kid-tested, lesbian-approved collection of stunningly rhythmic rhymes that can make any dyke drop jaw and fall to the floor on her knees in overwhelming approval. I love this disc, it's definitely not one I'll get tired of, and Alix can count on the continued support of this dyke anyday.

    Awesome CD. The only disc I own that I havean't gotten tired of listening to. Alixs' poetry is a blast of estrogen and radical feminist lesbian notions, I love it. Appropriate if you must, buy if you can.

    great CD, once you get past the ani-esque quality of a few of the songs and hear alix's voice/personality come through as unique and different. having not seen her live, it's hard to imagine what she's like as a performer, except that you can totally hear her smile through her words! i love it!
