I happen to prefer Alice's "The Art of Forgetting" a little more than this EP just because of the wider variety of songs on "Forgetting." However, "Could This Be Love?" is a standout, as is "Not an Exit". Alice has a great voice, and her songs stand up to repeated listenings; the only songs I tend to skip are the remixes for "Quicksand" just because I prefer the style of the original version of "Quicksand." I look forward to hearing more from Alice.
These songs are engaging! Intoxicating! I couldn't stop playing them.
author: GhostdogAlice's voice is going to get to you.Whether the music is rocking or grooving hard,it's her voice that'll keep bring you back. The tracks have a silky, translucent sheen that frame the tales this singer has to tell. Check out the Kellog's mix remix!
is there anything she can't do?
author: matthewbossa nova, drum&bass, a bittersweet guitar and cello ballad, a blazing rocker...this cd has it all and shows just how amazing miss lee's range really is. i mean, not just anyone can get a brubeck on their record...that require skills!
