notes
Alex Bach is setting the music world on fire. "Her voice... How can I describe it? I had to *bleep* my *bleep* after listening to her. It was that good!-- John Dough, Podunk, Iowa
Despite speaking four languages, when asked to describe her music, Alex Bach is at a loss for words. After hearing her music, though, you can understand why it is so hard to define. Labeling it as pop belies the insightful, cutting lyrics that are so characteristic of her songwriting. It underestimates her graceful melodies that will transcend the ever-changing trends of the music industry. Nor does it do justice to rhythms that have been undeniably influenced by her international background.
Alex Bach comes by her international flair quite naturally, in fact, genetically. Her father is from French Tunisia and her mother is American. Alex was born in France, raised there and then later in the Middle East and the U.S.
Her emotional and evocative songs speak of life in its most personal and honest form. "I love to write lyrics that shake people up and force them to re-examine their lives. The ability to write music and sing it in a way that touches people is an awesome power. If I can get just one person to take an honest look at themselves, then I will feel like I have used that power of music wisely."

awesome disc
author: Siobhan MurphyI've been thinking about downloading her stuff for awhile, and I've decided to do it. From what I've read she hasn't had an easy time of things recently so i hope this little bit helps.
TASTE THE SWEETNESS OF ALEX
author: JennMiles to Go from Alex Bach is not any CD it is a listening experience. The title song is a sweet and soft ballad that will touch your heart so deep inside you will feel it. Worthless is my fav song it has bite. Every woman has been through everything in this song one way or another and can relate to what Alex is singing about. Anymore, Skies Of Blue and Its All Up To You are pop with punch. These songs have Alextude. They will knock Britney on her butt. Alex shows you how a real woman should sound like. All in all this is a great CD I had to get 2 because I knew I would wear one out and I have. I may need to get a few more. It never leaves my cd player. I really recommed anyone that is tired of the same old BS that is out there now. Alex is a breath of fresh air and worth the time Check her out you wont be sorry. When you listen to a song by Alex Bach you take a piece of her that stays with you always.

Alex Bach's Miles to Go is a "must own" CD!
author: Craig WieberSince I just recently received Alex's CD, I thought I would post a review/my thoughts on it and invite anyone else to do the same. Overall, I think the album is a very solid performance, reaching emotional peaks and valleys and evoking a wide range of feelings. This album has it all, slow melodic tunes combined with in-your-face, hard rocking songs that pull no punches. My three favorite tracks from the album include Miles to Go, Hurricane, and Worthless. Miles to Go captures all of the emotion felt by the country after 9-11. The lyrics get to the core of how most people felt internally after the tragedy. It was like we all lost a friend and Alex's words helped express that loss and bring comfort to everyone. This neared my favorite song on the album. Hurricane's instrumentation is very unique and the message of the song really breaks through. It is a wonderful expression of the impact one person can have on another. It is a amazing how one individual's actions can define another's frame of reference, and this song captures that feeling. My favorite song on the album is Worthless. How do I property express my thoughts on this song. I think it provides valuable insight into relationships from a female point of view. I have known many girls in my life that I could apply the lyrics of this song. This song is loaded with attitude and I love the message Alex is putting out. Basically, I received my copy of the CD on Friday and it hasn't left my CD player since. The other people in my office are getting sick of me constantly playing songs from the MP3 site. I can't explain why, but Alex's music really strikes a cord with me. I can't wait until Thursday to see her live here in Wisconsin.
