Alesandra began this music thing early listening to Kenny Rogers sing "The Gambler" through the radio on a road trip with the family. School band playing flute turned into the Jesus days playing Jesus songs on the guitar. Jesus became a prophet, a god guy to listen to and say,,, "hmmmmm". Then she stopped listening to Jesus freaks and wrote her own songs.
Bree Sharp, Alanis Morissette, and a wild and free-spoken Ani DiFranco influenced Alesandras song writing. The eclectic mix of songs ranging from angry mall window shopping (Skinny Ashtray) to the trials of a lover lost ("4 in the morning" or "check mate") show a range of her sassy spirit.
