notes
Don Alder plays acoustic fingerstyle guitar with a passion that has quickly earned him a reputation as Vancouver's "best-kept little secret." Don is a world-class fingerstyle guitarist with a "wow factor" that has led to endorsement deals with 5 world-class manufacturers and collaboration with Greenfield guitars to produce a signature acoustic guitar - the "Don Alder G4" model.
His performances are intense, passionate and awe inspiring. The song "DR DR" has put Don on the map of being one one of the new acoustic guitar wizards. Don has won a varity of contests and his song "DR DR" was a 2005 finalist at the International Acoustic Music Awards.
Don's song "Wok the Dawg" is currently featured on the song player at the Dean Markley Strings website.
Picque News Magazin says, "Alder can make a single instrument sound like a 4 piece band. The Guy's like the acoustic Hendrix"
Matt Mustapick Guitar Builders says " I saw Don at the Russian Brewery in Santa Rosa, CA and he’s a one man moshe pit, if you’re within a 100 miles of a performance then you need to go see this guy"

I really really like the CD is has a lot of variety on it
author: Yama DaneThis CD has a been of music for everyone. Don Alder covers a lot of styles so you dont get bored as with other acoustic guitar albums. The guy is an amazing player. Would be great to see him live
Top notch acoustic guitar work
author: Sam CarsonI listen to a lot of CDS in this genre and after a few songs they become boring with to much of the same stuff. The guitar playing on this CD is diverse and stellar. Some of the songs on this CD are sure to become acoustic classics. There's also a lot of expression in the playing. I recently got a Kaki King CD and this CD is much more enjoyable and superior in the playing and the compositions.
