Raised in Moultrie Ga. one of five boys on the good side of the tracks but on the Po side of town, grew up surrounded by music, mostly Gospel. While most of my buddies were into sports I loved music heck actually the choice was easy to make. As everyone knows music attracts pretty girls and what young boy with wild eyes and lust in their heart can argue with the logic here. Music was all I ever wanted to do. Though the pretty young thoroughbreds were always fun to chase, a lonely guitar doesn't always fill an empty stomach. Still thought I was in heaven at 21. Granddad played the fiddle, Daddy played harmonica, Momma played guitar, and the entire family sang. A little backporch music enriches the soul and feeds the devil in us all. Moved to Oklahoma (No Man's Land) and with a new part of the country to explore I traded a redneck for cowboy boots. Daddy wanted college and I wanted music. At Oklahoma State U. it was a struggle, I graduated but music won out over education. Guess one could say I have a Country diversified background. Been a country music lover all my life. So have the "Dawg" bring you something cool & enjoy some of my tunes. Townes Van Zant once said "The True Country in Country music is better understood with heartaches and whiskey!" The loss of that black Chevy #3 in 2001 sure was a heartache. If you want to re-live the memory "First Race Last Lap" is a true memory of Dale's great legacy.

Racing fans need to purchase this CD for the fantastic tribute to that Black Chevy #3 1st Race, Last Lap. It brings back memories and emotions of that dark day at Daytona 6 years ago. Thanks for not allowing Earnhardt's memory to die.
