notes
Robin's 5th album tells a series of "short stories" through evocative but lesser-known piano masterpieces of Debussy, Glinka, Grieg, Granados, Mendelssohn and others. "Funeral March of a Marionette" will be instantly recognizable as the theme from "the Alfred Hitchcock Hour." Explore distant memories, quiet moods and exotic lands in this eclectic collection of piano music.

Great Selection, Wonderfully Executed!
author: Jerry AndersonAn instant set of new favorites executed with Robin's great dynamic range, superb trills, and pacing that holds an intense dramatic arch. I know and play the piece from Shumann's Kinderscenen (Foreign Lands & People), and had heard several others, but now I find great pleasure in her Lady and the Nightengale, Last Rose of Summer, and of course The Funeral March of a Marionette. Production values are very high, with no clipping, great dynamic range, and quality sound detail. Highly recommended.
