Album Notes

From the Jack Parsons’ triangle to you…the experimental, ambient, gothic, trip-hop stylings of Alchemist Corpse Rite provide a soundtrack to your strangest dreams and surrealist rituals.

"The Babalon Working" is a musical interpretation of Jack Parsons' 1946 evocation of the goddess Babalon, recorded entirely in the month of February 2008 as ACR's entry in the RPM challenge.

"My Voice in Her Heart" is the result of a collaboration between ACR from California, and Laura Aalto of SiameseDrummers from Finland. With a sound that combines the influence of bands such as Dead Can Dance with the French flavor of Yann Thiersen, this hauntingly beautiful track is one of our favorites and sure to become one of yours as well.
