Background singers with enough star power to release solo efforts never seem to stay long in the spotlight. Remember Lisa Fischer (Luther Vandross), N'Dambi (Erykah Badu), and Trey Lorenz (Mariah Carey)?

'Sunny One Day' The debut from the dynamic duo Albright, featuring Chris Parks and Vivian Sessoms is a collaborative effort that showcases the twosome's writing, arranging and production abilities and features Vivian on lead & backing vocals with most of the instruments played by Mr Parks.
The twosome met some 8 years ago and shortly after began pooling their resources and energies into writing and producing for other artists including Mario Vazquez (American Idol) and Lalah Hathaway (daughter of Donny), all the while building and enhancing their own spot, 'SuprDupr Sound' Studio in downtown Brooklyn's D.U.M.B.O area.
Eventually the pair decided they should do a project that would feature them as artists and the seeds for 'Sunny One Day' were sown.

Can't Listen Just Once
author: shirliseI have been waiting for this CD and I can say it was well worth it! Everytime I listen to it I have a different favorite. An absolutely amazing musical creation that just makes ya Feel Good listening to it. Albright renews my belief that music revitalizes the Soul!
Songs in my head all day everyday
author: earthakatMaybe it's because of the breathtaking vocals or the jazz-tinged ala r&b inspired beats, but I'm hooked. Can't get Tainted outta my head, or Dunno What from echoing in my ears while I'm at work. Buyer Beware! You will not believe how one cd can hold so many great songs and you too will become the Sunny One Day zombie that I have become...all day, everyday.
