    I absolutely love this album. I highly recommend it. It fills the room with such happy, soul searching lyrics that anybody can relate to. I especially love track 1, 3 and 9. I cant wait for more music of Amy Jo's to come out.

    This album is awesome! Amy Jo has a beautiful voice. The lyrics are deep & emotional. Not your typical pop star junk. I really wish she would have put out more than just this one album & a live disc. She is great!

    This is an amazing piece of audio art. The songs are rich, catchy, and make you want to listen to them again and again. Heartfelt, raw, polished, a myriad of emotions, and definitely fresh ... I could go on and on. I first heard songs from this CD on Ms. Johnson's myspace and I ordered the cd instantly. I certainly don't regret it. This is by far one of my very favorite records ever; one I'd definitely had to the top 10 I'd take to an island! BUY IT NOW!

    Amazingly strong performance - I was surprise to hear the sheer vocal power and the kick in some of the songs on this CD. I love Amy Jo's stuff, but this was more vibrant and in your face than previous tracks I have heard. Play it loud, sing along, and feel tough. Absolute must-have, especially if you think Amy Jo is all folksy melody.

    Absolutely stunning! Musically, it's wonderful melodies! And when it comes to her voice, the woman has such an amazing range. One of the reason I generally don't listen to "folk" is because even when the songs are great, they all sound the same. Not here, let me tell you! Miss Johnson has the ability to be several different musicians in her sound, style, and intensity. How is that this woman isn't touring the country constantly to arenas? She puts every other female vocalist to shame!

Every song is different and showcases Amy's beautiful, soulful, deeply emotional voice that sings from the heart and echoes into the depth of reality. "Fairway" "Purple skies" and "Crazier then you" would be perfect radio hits while "Cat in the snow" "Simple man" and "Goodbye" will send shivers down your spine with the realness of lyrics and music while haunting you with Amy's angelic harmonies.     I dont think I can say anything negative about this album. It was brilliantly done. Every song was more and more captivating. AJ's voice is kick @$$. She has this angelic-ness as well as a true rocker sound that is very enjoyable. I've followed AJ's career since she started, and this album is a wonderful look into AJ herself. Brilliant, Amazing, Fabulous, Inspiring... AJ, Pat yourself on the back... This is true talent. Beautifully done.

    Never heard any of her music before this but this CD just took off with me. I loved her songs rhythm and use of vocals and instrumentation. The first 5 songs grab you and carry you through half the cd before you ever since a change in the musics spirit. No song lets you down. Crazier than you is my personal favorite but no others are less noteworthy. Buy it today for a great feeling in your heart and soul.

    at the time of my first review, i had not listened to the entire cd. now that i have i must say this cd is the best cd i have ever heard/purchsed ever. amy jo is so talented. her songs are not about the beat or the hook or what the overall "look" would be. its all about the message. and i must say that my faves on this cd are "Simple Man" "Fairway" "Cat in the Snow" "Counting Sheep" and "Crazier than You".

    After hearing Amy in Sweetwater, I was happy to find this album. Very original sound, songs range from smooth and dreamy to sassy attitude all tied together with Amy's soulful voice. I was even more impressed to see that Amy wrote these songs. Overall excellent. I can sum it up in 2 words-More please :)

    I am a Spanish girl and I knew Amy Jo from a TV program but I didn't know she sang so beautifully. I can sometimes compare her sound to the sweetness of Natalie Imbruglia (as in Goodbye) and sometimes to the sound and firmness of the voice of PJ Harvey (as in Splashin Rain). She is really talented!!!!!!!!!

    Calling The Trans-American Treatment merely a great CD would be selling it short. This is one of the greatest CDs ever. With the release of her second CD (an acoustic live set) I find myself hoping that The Trans-American Treatment does not become Amy's last studio rock recording. Don't get me wrong, the live album is great also. I'm just a rocker and like my music loud. The Trans-American Treatment sounds great loud. Amy, crank it up a couple notches and lets rock the house one more time!

    Actually, I was quite surprised... especially because I've never heard of this album before. I stumbled across the cd online and heard two-minute clips of some of the songs. Kind of like Jewel, but a lot more spunk. Great Job.

    I like the last tune,"Goodbye". Maybe I am too much influenced by Julie of Felicity, but I think her voice really suits mid to slow tempo acoustic songs. Her whisper sounds like an angel. I think Amy doesn't have to rely on electric instruments or computer sound effect. To be honest to say, I wanted to listen to a few more acoustic songs. But I want to give her thumb-up, thank you, Amy!

    I love this CD. I love the up beat music and the slow calming music. It has a wonderful rock sound with a touch of a heavy and light accoustic feel. My favorite song is Little Bit. Love the whole CD! Everyone should atleast listen to it if not own a copy!

    I wasn't really sure what to expect....only reason I got the c.d. was because the one time I heard Ms. Johnson sing on MMPR, she was really good. I have to say, I really love the c.d. Fairway's my favorite song, but all of them are beautifully written, emotional songs that say something about what has happened in her life....AWESOME!

    If I wasn't a fan of Amy Jo Johnson before listening to the CD, I most definitely would be now. With heartfelt, introspective lyrics backed up by a blend of driving rhythms and melodies that stick in your head, Amy Jo shows her range and versatility by singing soulful ballades and solid rock with an open honesty and sincerity that is very refreshing. The more I listen to the CD the more I like it. And in case your wondering, after listening to her sing, you won't think of her as the Pink Ranger any more.
