Adrian’s music is not easily contained by any one genre, but has been influenced by a lot of styles such as western, blues, folk and Irish music. Her lyrics are solid, mature and accessible while the music is contagious and original . Adrian has a powerful voice filled with emotion that reminds the listener of the big expanses on the Nevada desert.

Adrian’s music reflects her ranching and cowboy lifestyle as well as her strong connections to the land. It has an authenticity that comes through immediately to the listener. Two of her strongest qualities are her lyrics and vocal quality. Listeners at cowboy gatherings as well as blues and folk aficionados find “their” music when she sings.

Highway 80 utilizes first class musicians coupled with top production quality to give the listener the world class product they should expect. The project was recorded at Bridge Studio by Shannon Davidson and easily exceeds even the highest industry standards.     Adrian Brannan has been a friend of mine since her family and I met almost 13 years ago. I know this could be misconstrued as partiality but I truly believe that Adrian speaks for her friends, and all that work on ranches and in agriculture. Ian Tyson has long been the spokesmen for the cowboy American & Canadian west and I have often wondered who will fill his shoes to carry on that tradition. Adrian is the one. The ballads are rich with realism and continue the tradition Tyson started of telling the true story, hardship, and beauty of the cowboy spirit. Carry it forward my friend...

    The depth of Adrian's voice blows me away, and throughout the album you can really feel the emotion. Absolutely genuine, no faking it, Adrian is the real deal. How someone aged 15 can be this good is beyond me, but I sure will buy the next album when it comes along--and I really hope it does!

    This song really touched my heart! Beautiful voice and excellent breath control as is the case on all the other selections. It's hard to believe it was written by such a young girl. Adrian certainly has an exciting future coming up fast. This song shows that she and her sister have a very special relationship. They must come from an extraordinary family. I'll be looking for Adrian's next CD.
