Extraordinary Portland musicians Adam East and Kris Deelane (previously known and Adam + Kris) have just released a new CD entitled "A Stranger's Song," an 11 song project featuring the songs of New Orleans songwriter Paul Gailiunas.
"A Stranger's Song" features Adam and Kris' signature sound of high energy, exquisite vocal harmonies, great rocking grooves, community-minded conscious lyrics and plenty of strong and contagious spirit. With tunes like "Emma Goldman," "Opposite Machine," and the title song, this disc is a CD that will be played and enjoyed over and over.
Adam + Kris have been Oregon Country Fair favorites for years. The 2003 Fair will be the perfect showcase forthese new tunes and many other original classic tunes.
All the instrumentation and vocals were performed by Adam and Kris and recorded at Blue Heron Sound. A Stranger's Song has just been released on local, independent Number One Records, which has also recently released Hold Me Up To The Light, a tribute to Eugene songwriter Peter Wilde.

I like the CD cover Music very simple and straightforward, very west coast, reminds me of the 60's - Fortunately I like 60's music.
